Our Story
Autumn Whippets
begin in 1982, with a little girl named Penny.
She was our lure courser and first tracking whippet.
Virginia and daughter Amanda started showing whippets with a home bred, fawn and white dog named Crackers. We have been showing ever since.
In 1998, Virginia and Amanda flew to Helsinki, Finland to show at the World Show. They were awarded Best of Breed with a girl by the name of Autumn I'm An Angel. She is now 12 years old and still residing at her namesake, Autumn Whippets.
There have been numerous champions at Autumn Whippets. We are proud our whippets have proved themselves in the obedience ring, lure coursing and as loving companions.
We have a wonderful life living with and showing this wonderful breed, the whippet.
